FloridaTeams.com is an independent guide to professional and major college sports in Florida. The site combines original explanatory coverage with live utility: team directories, score information and clearly labeled links to current reporting from outside publishers.
Original FloridaTeams content
Guides, comparisons, regional explainers and team-page commentary published under the FloridaTeams Editorial Desk are written for this site. Their goal is not to reproduce team biographies already available elsewhere, but to organize Florida sports from a statewide fan perspective: how markets overlap, why rivalries matter, where venues actually are, and how teams compare across the state.
Live scores
The score ticker retrieves publicly available game information from third-party sports data endpoints. Scores, schedules and game status can change quickly and should be confirmed with the relevant league or team for ticketing, betting, travel or other time-sensitive decisions. FloridaTeams does not claim ownership of third-party score data.
External headlines
Team cards can display links discovered through Google News search feeds. Those items are labeled as external headlines and open the linked publisher. FloridaTeams does not republish the article body or present an outside publisher’s reporting as its own work.
Research and software-assisted workflows
FloridaTeams uses a combination of manual research and software-assisted tools to organize information, check links and help draft or update pages. Time-sensitive factual details are intended to be checked against primary sources such as official team, league, venue or university websites before publication. Software assistance does not change the site’s responsibility to correct errors.
